Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe Tournament

Super Puzzle PlatformerOn Friday, December 30th we hosted our 19th tournament: Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe. Made by indie developer Andrew Morrish and published by Adult Swim Games and released in May of 2013, SPPD combines falling-block puzzle elements from Tetris and platformer elements from Mario. Being the day before New Year’s Eve, this tournament was one of the smallest we’ve hosted, but the finals were intense. After a series of blowouts leading to the final match between Paul and Tim, we saw one of the closest finals we’ve hosted thus far, with a score of 260 to 267. In the end, Tim won! We played Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe with the Steam-released version on an Alienware Alpha connected to the projector at Berlin Haus.
